Audrey Delphine Gray, known affectionately as "Lady D" by those who knew her, departed this world on March 23, 2026, leaving behind a rich legacy of love and strength. Born in Camden, SC, on April 22, 1961, Audrey was the daughter of the late Bennie Gray, Jr. and Jean Amelia Drakeford. 

Audrey spent her career in the noble pursuit of housekeeping, working tirelessly in a local nursing home.  Audrey's dedication to her work was only surpassed by her love for the game of BINGO. This simple pastime brought her immense joy and numerous friends, a testament to her zest for life and her ability to find happiness in the little things. 

She is survived by her loving mother, Amelia Drakeford of Camden;  daughters, Olethia Warren (Curtis) of Camden and Neshi Gray of Columbia; son, Shannon Gray of Douglasville, Va.; sister, Iris Gray of Camden; brothers, Anthony Gray (Monae) of Long Island, N.Y. and Willie James Gray of Lugoff; 10 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. 

 A celebration of Audrey's life will be held at Powers Funeral Home, 832 Ridgeway Road, Lugoff, South Carolina, 29078, on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
