Wiley Thomas Catoe, known to all who knew him as "Babe," was called home to Heaven on March 21, 2026, at the age of 82. 

He joined his parents, Thomas and Sadie Catoe; a brother, Charles Catoe; and a sister, Diane Atkinson. 

Babe was a simple man who loved to do, and cook, for others. He loved his wife of 62 years, Audrey; his children, Sherry Geiger (Richard) of Lugoff, SC and Dwayne Catoe (Deanne) of Anderson, SC; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren, which were the apple of his eye. 

He worked in textiles for 53 years. He was a member of Manning Fox Pen, where he enjoyed running his dogs with his hunting buddies, and he grew the best tomatoes around. He attended Community Bible Church and loved his church family. 

Services will be held on at 3:00 pm on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Community Bible Church, 5711 Red Hill Rd., Camden, SC 29020, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Reverend Jerry Peacock will officiate. A Visitation will be held at Powers Funeral Home, 832 Ridgeway Rd., Lugoff, SC 29078, on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. The family will also be receiving friends at their home at 4951 Red Hill Road, Rembert, SC.  

Babe's family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the doctors and their support staff who cared for us over the past 6 years. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Babe's memory to the Community Bible Church Building Fund.
