Patricia Oglesby Johnstone, born on October 7, 1955, in Charlotte, NC, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her husband, Kennerly and daughter, Anne, on March 4, 2026. She resided in Cassatt, SC, and was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend to many.

Patricia was a devoted school teacher in the public school system, using her gifts to inspire and uplift countless students throughout her career. Beyond her professional life, she was a passionate artist and had a studio in downtown Camden at the 1011 Galleria. She was also an avid horseback rider and a member of the Wateree Hunt Club. Patricia's love for animals was well-known; she had a special place in her heart for horses, chickens, cats and dogs. Her warm, loving spirit was infectious and she enriched the lives of everyone who knew her.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Kennerly Johnstone, and their daughter Anne Johnstone. She was predeceased by her parents, William Wirt and Mary Elizabeth Oglesby. 

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at the First Baptist Church in Camden, fellowship hall. A celebration of life will follow at 12:00 pm in the sanctuary. In lieu of flowers, the family request that you make a donation to the Theil-Meyer Pet adoption Center.
