Funeral services for Cathy Elizabeth Richardson, 75, of Lugoff, South Carolina, will be held Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 5:00 PM at Powers Funeral Home. Reverend Mark Sanders will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the funeral home. A graveside service for immediate family will be held Friday at 10:00 AM at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.

Mrs. Richardson passed away Monday, February 16, 2026. She was born in Columbia, South Carolina, and was the daughter of the late Wilbert Martin and Sarah Lee Martin.

Mrs. Richardson attended services at Lighthouse Ministries. She had a passion for playing games, especially bingo. She also enjoyed visiting the beauty salon and traveling. Her greatest focus in life was her family and her faith.

Mrs. Richardson is survived by her husband of 55 years, James E. Richardson; her daughters, Renee Richardson of Columbia and Tonya Sanchez (Edwin) of Lugoff; her siblings, Sherley Suarez of Elgin, Jackie Auker of Myrtle Beach, W.T. Martin (Kathy) of Leesville, and Gary Martin of Red Bank; 12 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
