Funeral service for Brad Everette Dority, 70, will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Monday, February 16, 2026 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Dority passed away at home on Sunday, February 8, 2026.  born in Camden, he was the son of the late Elliott Wayne and Betty Truesdale Dority.  He was a graduate of Camden High School where he played varsity football and attended Wingate University.  Brad was a maintenance technician for KershawHealth and was also an industrial pipe fitter.  He was an avid movie buff.

Brad's most cherished moments were the time spent with his family and friends whom he loved dearly.

Surviving are his children, Nichole Young, Brennen Edwards (Ryan), and Tessa Clinton (Robbie); brother, Rev. T. Wayne Dority (Shelly); sister, Regan Flowers (Kevin); grandchildren, Alexander Young, Brenden Young, Taylor Young, Tanner Edwards and Alex Edwards; and special friend, Linda Bowen.  He was predeceased by a brother, Jimmy Dority.
