Lillian Lynette Faircloth, born August 12, 1944 in Aiken, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2026. Lynn, a devoted follower of the Baptist faith, lived her life with a remarkable sense of love and thoughtfulness that touched everyone around her. Her faith was the compass that guided her, reflecting in her actions and words as she lived out Proverbs 31:26, "She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue."

Lynn made her career as a Customer Service Representative at Bellsouth, where she was known for her dedication and commitment. She enjoyed working on crossword puzzles, watching mystery shows, and reading. A loving and thoughtful soul, Lynn had a special affection for her dogs and found joy in caring for them. Her love for sharing God's word was profound, resonating with all who had the privilege to know her.

Lynn is survived by her daughters, Judy Lynn McClure (Rodney), Melissia Ann Stark, and Oletia Cathleen Faircloth; sister, Frances Bodiford (Charles); 9 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.   She was preceded in death by her parents, William Purvis Bodie and Lillian Ferris Brown; husband, William L. Faircloth, Jr.; daughter, Lisa Lynelle Ingram; and brother, William Lee Bodie.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Lynn Faircloth will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Powers Funeral Home, located at 832 Ridgeway Road, Lugoff, South Carolina, 29078.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
