CAMDEN- A celebration of life service for Jimmie Oliver, Sr., 84, will be held Sunday, February 15, 2026 at 3:00 pm at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. Ronald Williams will officiate. 

    Mr. Oliver passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026. Born in Cassatt, he was a son of the late Jake and Verlie Dubose Oliver. Mr. Oliver was a member of Greater Faith and Joy Tabernacle. He was a handyman who enjoyed doing yardwork, fishing, dancing, and doing electrical work. 

    Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Edna Jefferson Oliver; Daughters, Betty Oliver of Camden, Jennifer Oliver of Camden; sister, Dorothy Mickle; brother, Harman Roseboro; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by son, Jimmie Oliver, Jr.; and siblings, Elizabeth Oliver, Robert Oliver, Pete Oliver, Ben Oliver  and Virginia Oliver.
