Nathan Hayes Obituary

With heavy hearts and loving memories, we announce the passing of Nathan Brian Hayes, who left us on February 4, 2026. Nathan, born in Camden, South Carolina on June 12, 1985, he was the son of the late Russell "Buddy" Byron Hayes and Wendy Lorraine Jackson Hayes.

Nathan was a skilled carpenter by trade. The same hands that built sturdy structures also gently held the throttle of his beloved motorcycles and four-wheelers. He was an avid racing enthusiast, with a special fondness for Mustangs. He saw racing not just as a hobby, but a metaphor for life; a thrilling journey full of twists and turns, where both speed and strategy mattered.

Despite never marrying, Nathan was surrounded by love and affection in the form of his adoring grandparents who raised him, Margurite Patricia Jackson and Fronice Jackson; and his brother, Byron Hayes.

Nathan’s life will be celebrated with a graveside service on Monday, February 9, 2026, at 3:00 pm in Mizpah Baptist Church Cemetery, located at 3659 Jamestown Road, Camden, South Carolina, 29020.
