Nancy “Irene” Altman Faucher, age 75, died Monday, February 2, 2026 in Lugoff, South Carolina after a brief illness. She was born on October 16, 1950, in Conway, South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Herbert “Hub” Lamar Altman and Elizabeth “Louise” Altman.

Mrs. Faucher was the widow of Dennis Faucher, who preceded her in death in 2020. She was a devoted fan of the Carolina Gamecocks and NASCAR and enjoyed reading in her spare time.

Surviving are her sister, Evelyn Wakefield (Lowell); nieces, DeAnna Brooks (Shaun), Candace Jackson (Paul), and Laura Lewis (Brooks); great-nieces and great-nephews, Haylee, Jackson, Hudson, Harrison, Maeve, and Eloise; a close friend and caretaker, Kenny Brown; and her beloved cat, Sweetie.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Theil-Meyer Pet Adoption Center or the Kershaw County Humane Society.
