ELGIN- We are mournful to announce the demise of our beloved son and brother, Robert Spradley, age 69. Surrounded by his family, he joined his heavenly family on January 27, 2026. Robert, a lifelong resident of Elgin, was a brave soul who graced our lives with compassion and defined humility. For those lucky enough to have known him, he gave them his meaningful and sincere friendship. Robert leaves us with wonderful memories that touch our hearts.

     The eldest son of Clyde Spradley of Elgin, and the late Iva Jean Kelly Spradley, Robert leaves to cherish his memory his father, Clyde Spradley; sisters, Kathy Pullen of Elgin, Michaelle Hollingworth (Tracy); brother, Paul Spradley of Elgin; and numerous in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews. In addition to his mother, Robert was predeceased by his first wife, Marie Carey Spradley, second wife, Jill Morris Spradley; and a brother, Bryan Spradley.

     Services for Robert will be private. Though he may have passed on, and surely will be missed, he will live on in our hearts.
