ELGIN- Steven Christopher Williams, 52, passed away at home surrounded by love on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. Born in Lexington, he was a son of the late Robert Gene Williams and Sandra Grant Williams. Steven spent his life working for several local healthcare facilities and was passionate in his chosen career. Outside work, Steven was a repurposing fabrication artist and avid junk collector. He enjoyed building one-of-a-kind lamps and furniture using unique found treasures. Every piece had its own story, a story Steven loved to share with anyone who would listen.
Surviving are his wife, Noël Hall Williams; children, Réyn Hall-Williams (Joey Kerney), Bogart Hall (Brittney World); beloved pups, On'Shree, Maisel; grandpups, Clarence Man, Beerus; and a brother, Charles "Ricky" Lusk (Venus). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a beloved pup, Lola Mae; and a brother, Robert Allen Williams.
Memorial services for Steven will be held Tuesday, January 27, 2026 from 2 - 4 p.m. in the courtyard at MUSC Health Kershaw Hospital. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kershaw County Humane Society.
Steven will be missed so very much by so very many.
