LUGOFF – A funeral service for Ruth Pizarro Rivera, 60, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 18, 2025, at Powers Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service in Centerville Cemetery, Ridgeway.

Ruth passed away on January 9, 2026. Born in Puerto Rico on June 27, 1965, she was the daughter of the late Aurelio Pizarro Rivera and Nilza Rivera. Surviving are her children, Nilza DeJesus Pizarro, Nilda DeJesus Pizarro, and Nilka DeJesus Pizarro; brother, Aurelio Pizarro; and 14 grandchildren.
