Anthony Elijah  "Ant" Adamson, 47, passed away on December 30, 2025 in Columbus, Ohio. Born in Buffalo, New York, he was a son of Kim McBride and the late Anthony Young, and was raised by the late Ruth and Harry Adamson. Mr. Adamson was a member of Scott Hill Baptist Church. He enjoyed gaming, watching Youtube videos, and documentaries about history, animals and biblical topics.

     Left to cherish his memory are his children, Aveonsay Adamson of Camden, South Carolina, Starnesha Adamson of Lugoff, South Carolina, Anthony Adamson, Jr. of Delaware, Ohio, Kendrick Adamson of Youngstown, Ohio; Fiancé, Jules Barbour of Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren, Tre'cyn Hamlet, Niyelle Hamlet, SaKai Bracey; siblings, Elliott Adamson, Malcolm Young, Antwan Young, Chance Young, Cash Young, Nikki Mitchell; and several other relatives and friends.

     A funeral service for Anthony will be held Saturday, January 10 at Powers Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in Scott Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Rev. Melvin Williams, Jr. will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday, January 9 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
