Kevin Anthony Dorsey, 49, a native of Elgin, South Carolina, passed away on December 6, 2025. He was born on September 17, 1976. Kevin was the beloved son of Tom and Elaine Dorsey.

He is survived by his parents, his brother Scott Dorsey, his sister Angie Barnette (Lane), and his sister Heather Moseley (Eric).

Kevin was a proud father to his three children, Morgan Majors (Caitlin), Brandon Dorsey, and Kaitlyn Dorsey. He was also a loving grandfather to Emma Grace and William. He is further survived by several nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart. Kevin had a true gift for art and a special eye for detail, traits that carried into his career as a drywall professional. He took pride in his work and approached each project with care and precision. He was caring by nature and had a great sense of humor, always wanting to make people laugh and bringing lightness to those around him. His favorite color was green, a simple detail that family and friends will always remember. Kevin was deeply loved by family.

A service to celebrate Kevin's life will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Kevin will be remembered for his creativity, his craftsmanship, his caring heart, his humor, and the lasting mark he leaves on those who loved him.
