RIDGEWAY- A funeral service for Rena Joyce Martin, 70, will be held Thursday at 12:00 p.m. at Sutton Branch Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Grady Ponds will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home.

    Ms. Martin passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025. Born in Camden, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Crawford Martin. Ms. Martin attended Sutton Branch Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with friends and family.

    Left to cherish her memory are her son, Travis Martin; granddaughter, Laila Martin; brother, Leon Martin (Eric); and numerous other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a niece, Savannah Joyce Martin.
