CAMDEN- A celebration of life service for Isaiah "Ike" Hayward, Jr., 84, will be held Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Canty Hill Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Thomas Blyther will officiate. A public viewing will be held Sunday, November 30 from 12 - 3 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff.

    Mr. Hayward, husband of the late Andrena Hayward, transitioned into eternal life on Sunday, November 23, 2025. Born in Camden, he was a son of the late Isaiah Hayward, Sr. and Melissa Ashe. Ike was a member of Canty Hill Baptist Church. He enjoyed landscaping and fish frys. 

    Left to cherish his memory are his son, Shaun Hayward Prescott of Camden; daughter, Kimberly Prescott Gibson (Cedric) of Hartsville; grandchildren, Ashari Prescott, Jaylen Prescott; and brothers, Richard Hayward of N.J., and Keith Hayward of DE. in addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Ernest Hayward, Jerry Hayward, and Betty Moody.
