Graveside service for Essie Bryan, 99, will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in Sandy Level Baptist Church Cemetery, Bethune.  Public viewing will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff.

Mrs. Bryan, wife of the late Patrick Bryan, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.  Born in Clifton Forge, Va., she was the daughter of the late Clifford Carroll and Ethel Pankey Carroll.  She was a devoted and faithful member of Sandy Level Baptist Church.

She was predeceased by a sister, Gladys West of Stafford, Va.  She is survived a by a host of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
