CAMDEN- David Corbett "Earl" Roberts, Jr., 72, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025. Born in Camden, he was a son of the late David Corbett Roberts, Sr. and Lilly Oneta Jordan Roberts. Earl enjoyed classic cars, going to car shows, and watching NASCAR. He was an avid Carolina Gamecock Football fan. 

    Surviving are his wife, Sara Barnes Roberts; son, David C. Roberts III (Jessica) of Cassatt; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Roberts of Camden; sister, Wanda Deaton of Camden; brother Charlie Roberts (Kim) of Lugoff; and grandchildren, Isabella, Emery, Olivia, Lorraina, David "Micky", Lily "Ella", Mitchell "Tiger", Aislynn "Jessy Moon".

     A time of gathering to celebrate the life of Earl will be held Sunday, November 30, 2025 at Powers Funeral Home at 4:30 pm. The Rev. Tim Shirley will officiate.The family will be recieving friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
