Rochelle M. Rashid, a cherished daughter, and passionate animal lover, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025. Born on June 8, 1967, in Ashtabula, OH. She attended Ashtabula High School and went on to attend Ohio State University for three years. Rochelle was an animal lover, and she had a special place in her heart for dogs and horses. She started a company called Rosies Frenchie's where she bred and cared for French Bulldogs. Rochelle was also instrumental in starting the Devoted Divas Home Care Company. She was was a big part of the 4H girl scouts and was a mentor to many younger relatives. She also had a special love for audio books and cooking. She was a personal banker for 10 years 

Rochelle is survived by her loving mother, Rose Rashid of Elgin, SC; sister, Raquel M. Hamilton of Eastover, SC; 3 nieces and nephews; Evan and Jinky Hamilton, Derrick and Ashley Hamilton, Ashlyn and John Padgett; adopted daughter, Aleaseha Kolmansberger; and 3 great nieces and nephews, Olivia, James and Austin. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Rashid; grandparents, Ollie Mae Rashid and Starr and Maerea Walker. 

A celebration of life luncheon for Ms. Rashid will be held by the family on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at 1361 Smyrna Road, Elgin, SC 29045. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
