Edward Maxwell, born in York, PA on the 23rd of November, 1957, passed away on the 9th of November, 2025. Edward, known for his infectious laughter, his love for a good joke, and his unwavering commitment to his family, will forever be remembered as a man whose heart was as deep as his love for fishing. Edward was always eager to lend a helping hand, fix a car, or engage in watching a wrestling match.

Edward made his home in Lugoff, South Carolina in 2022, where he was the beloved husband to Yvonne Maxwell and a cherished father and grandfather. His family was his pride and joy, and he found immense pleasure in their happiness. His jokes would lighten any room and bring smiles to the faces of those around him. 

Edward is survived by his wife, Yvonne Maxwell; children, Yvonne Stilwell of Lugoff, SC, Edward Maxwell, Jr. (Michelle) of Dalton, PA, Lester "Bill" Maxwell (Lauren) of Moscow, PA, Kerry Maxwell (Jennifer) of Archbald, PA, Misty Picache (Christopher) of Elgin, SC, Amy Maxwell of Pringle, PA, Amanda Maxwell of Clark Summit, PA and Crystal Clemo (Rick) of Carbondale, PA; sisters, Rose Stout (John) of Carbondale, IL and Lori Sagez (Paul) of Murphysboro, IL; 23 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. 

He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Lester Maxwell and Rose Cordell; and 10 siblings. Edward's legacy will forever be remembered in the hearts of those he loved and who loved him. His spirit will live on in the memories of his servants heart, his love for fishing, and the time he spent with his family and friends.
