A Celebration of Life Service for Barbara Ann Hinson, 72, will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Powers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hinson, wife of the late Leo Perry Hinson, departed this life on November 8, 2025. Born on May 27, 1953 in Kershaw County, S.C., she was the daughter of the late, Richard Caulder and Ruby Byars Caulder. Ann was a woman of many talents and passions. She was employed at Fran's Alterations, where she brought joy to countless customers with her exceptional skills and warm personality. She was a master of her craft, stitching not only clothes but also love and care into every piece she worked on. Barbara's kindness and love for children was unparalleled. She had a unique ability to connect with children, share in their simplicity, and nurture their dreams. Equally, her love for flowers was an extension of her love for life's beauty.

Ann is survived by her brother, Frankie Caulder (Judy) of Lugoff; a special nephew, Glenn Hinson of Lugoff; and countless nephews and nieces who she adored. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Ruby Caulder.
