Avery R. Littlefield Obituary

Avery R. Littlefield, 81, of Elgin, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. Born in Bendale, MS, he was a son of the late George and Maryetta Hunt Littlefield. Avery served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed fishing, yardwork and gardening. He built a pond around his home which he stocked with fish. 

    Surviving are his wife, Trudy Littlefield; son, Thomas Rich (Stephanie) of North Augusta; daughter, Marisa Littlefield (Dominik) of Alexandria, VA; grandchildren, Austin Rich, Garrett Rich, Bryanna Rich; a great-grandchild, Wrynlee Rich; and siblings, Etta, James, Nevelon, Terry, Rita and Annie. He was predeceased by a son, Franklin Littlefield. 

    A graveside service with military honors will be held in Fort Jackson National Cemetery on Monday, November 3, 2025 at 9:00 a.m.
