CAMDEN- A graveside service for Charles H. Stokes, 84, will be held Monday, October 20, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Gene Stokes will officiate.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Karesh at Beechwood, Activities Group.

    Mr. Stokes, husband of the late Faye W. Stokes, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025. Born in Camden, he was a son of the late William C. Stokes and Elma Kennington Stokes. Mr. Stokes enjoyed teaching Bible study at Karesh, doing gym time, playing Bingo with friends and spending time with his family.

      Surviving are his daughters, Charlene S. Trapp (Allen) of Antioch, Tina S. Griggs of Bishopville, Sonya L. Adler of North Myrtle Beach; siblings, Helen Walls of Camden, Karen Rhodes (Anthony) of Charleston, Harold Stokes (Becky) of Antioch, Rev. Gene Stokes (Pat) of Murrells Inlet, James Stokes (Virginia) of Bishopville; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife; he was predeceased by a daughter, Teresa Faye Stokes; and brothers, William Stokes and Barney Stokes.
