It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gregory Gibbs on October 12, 2025. Born on April 9, 1964, in Brunswick, GA. Gregory's love for words and stories led him to the University of South Carolina, where he graduated with a degree in journalism. In his later years, Gregory found his calling in the medical field, where he worked with Alzheimer's patients. As a passionate reader and writer, he was an active member of his local book club, spreading joy and shared knowledge within his community.

 He is survived by his loving mother, Shirley Gardner (Paul). He is preceded in death by his father, John Gibbs. 

A service for Gregory will be held privately at a later date.
