Donald "Joe" Eugene Auker, Jr., passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025. Born in Carlisle, PA on June 28, 1948, he was the son of the late Donald Eugene Auker, Sr. and Marian Arleen Doner. He married his loving wife Jacqueline "Jackie" Delorse Martin Auker on June 22, 1968 in Columbia, SC. He honorably served his country in the United States Coast Guard. Joe was a machinist working for Rockwell International until his retirement in 1993. He was a member of  the former Trinity Baptist Church in Lugoff, SC, where he served as a deacon and a church greeter, and on various church committees. Joe was a member of the Lugoff Masonic Lodge, Lodge #411, where he was a Past Master.

Joe was a traveling man. He loved taking trips to the mountains and the beach. He served as a Park Host at Myrtle Beach State Park for 18 years pending time with his grands and great grands was always a pleasure for him. He loved treasure hunting with his metal detector, whether at the beach, or in the mountains.

Left to cherish his memories in addition to his wife are his two sons, Bryan Auker and Christopher "Chris" Auker (Kimberley); special daughter, Juanita Auker; sisters, Rebecca "Becky" Peterson (Tim), Kim Hudson, Cecil Owens, Georgia Lanning; brother, Jeff Auker; brothers-in-law, Ricky Roberts and Ricky Humphries; grandchildren, David Auker (Amelia) and Matthew Auker; great grandchildren, Addison, Madison, Aiden and Elaina. 

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Christeene Auker; sisters, Charlene "Sherry" Roberts and Tammy Humphries and sister-in-law, Carleene Auker.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Powers Funeral Home in Lugoff, SC. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service.
