RIDGEWAY- Ruth Daniels went to Heaven on September 28, 2025 at the age of 92. Born on October 6, 1932 in Roper, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Bailey Elwood Biggs and Mary Susan Biggs Hartsoe. Ruth had a full life serving her family and others. Her final years were spend at Lake Wateree with her children, serving others at Lake Wateree Baptist Church. She had a ministry of love and caring for all with whom she came in contact with. 

    Left to cherish her memories are her children, Marjorie Ann Maybin, Brenda Marlene Gandy (Shane), Richard Herbert Nelson (Trudi), Janice Marie Gilbert (Glenn); grandchildren, Thomas Maybin, Amanda Liggett, (and their father, Barry Maybin), Gene Cox, Jason Gilbert, Joseph Nelson, Jessica McLeod, Laura Shoup, Matthew Nelson; and numerous great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by first husband, Luther Herbert Nelson; husband, Willie Gert Daniels; step-father, Joseph Hartsoe; and a grandson, Colin Gilbert.

    A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Lake Wateree Baptist Church, 5856 River Road, Ridgeway, SC 29130. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lake Wateree Baptist Church Building Fund.
