John Raymon Whitt, known to all as Johnny, left us on the 25th of September 2025. Born on October 1, 1966, in Camden, SC, residing in Cassatt. John was a man of simple pleasures, a former employee at Capital Supply, and a fervent Clemson Tigers fan His love for watching football and the thrill he got from a good fishing trip were infectious. 

John was the beloved son of Linda Carolyn Farman (Curtis) and Raymond Whitt. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sisters, Pam Cobb and Rosetta Atkins (Tom); nieces, Megan Britt and Ansley Corbett; and special friend, Mike Guinn. 

He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, JT and Annie Lee Munn. 

A memorial service honoring the life of Mr. Whitt will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Powers Funeral Home in Lugoff, SC. The family will be receiving friends following the service at the funeral home. Rev. Mark Hopkins will be officiating.
