William "Bubba" Eugene Edwards, Jr., went to his heavenly home on September 9th, 2025. He was born on October 5, 1955 to the late William Eugene Edwards, Sr. and Ruth Arilee Taylor Edwards. He was a truck driver for 40 plus years. He was a gamecock fan and Atlanta Braves fan. He also loved spending time with his family and friends. 

He leaves behind his wife of 43 years, Sandra Lee Edwards of Elgin; two daughters, Sarah Ann Edwards (Patrick) of Lancaster, SC and Diana Michelle Chavis of Elgin, SC; two grandsons, Christopher Levi Chavis and Logan Clyde Chavis of Charleston, SC; two nephews, Eric Lynnwood Jeter (Katie) of Greer, SC and Robert Taylor Henderson of Sumter, SC. 

He is reunited with his parents also, his brother Camron Mitchell Edwards and his sister Tracy Lynn Henderson. 

He will never be forgotten

A memorial service will be held Sunday, September 14, 2025 at 3:00 pm at Powers Funeral Home in Lugoff, SC. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in his honor to The American Heart Association.
