Tammy Sue Humphries, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025. Born in Germany, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Marian Auker. Residing in Lugoff, South Carolina, she had a unique knack for yard work and restoring furniture, hobbies that allowed her to express her creativity and attention to detail. Tammy was the heart of her family, truly one of a kind, the glue that held them together, and her absence will be deeply felt.  

Tammy leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 44 years, Richard "Ricky" Keith Humphries; son, Rick Humphries, Jr. (Tarah); daughter, Stephanie Shirey (Larry); siblings, Joe Auker (Jackie), Becky Peterson (Tim), Jeff Auker, Kim Hudson, Cecil Owens and Georgia Lanning; brother-in-law, Ricky Roberts; granddaughters, McKenzie Humphries and Mattalyn Shirey; and her dog, Jet. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Marian Auker; and sister, Charlene "Sherry" Roberts. 

Services for Mrs. Humphries will be privately held. 

To paraphrase Maya Angelou, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Tammy Humphries made people feel loved, valued, and cherished, and her memory will forever be etched in our hearts.
