CASATT- William Christopher "Chris" Martin, III, 61, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025. Born in San Antonio, TX, he was a son of Judith Morrissey Bock and the late Gerald "Jerry" Bock. Chris was a chief by trade and loved cooking. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

    Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 9 years, Donna Smith Martin; son, Richard Martin of Lexington, daughter Trinity Martin of Lexington; mother, Judith Bock; and siblings, Kevin Sorrentino of Franklin, N.C., Karen Hood (Vince) of Columbia, and Natalie Parker (Brian) of Columbia. 

    A celebration of life service for Chris will be held Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. John Ptak will officiate. The family will receive friends starting one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
