Bryan Alexis "Lex" Glover passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on August 16, 2025, at the age of 68. Born in Camden, South Carolina, on March 11, 1957, Lex was the son of the late George Marion Glover, Jr., and Eleanor King Glover.
Lex's love of nature and animals was reflected in the life he lived and the service he gave to the Riverbanks Zoo and the State of South Carolin at the Department of Natural Resources. He was a loving son, brother and uncle.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved dog, Oliver (his "ride-or-die"); brother, William L. Glover (Linda) of Camden; sisters, Connie Glover Eubanks of Jefferson and Dawn Glover Edge (Jim) of Lugoff; nieces and nephews, Robin Eubanks Squires, Ginger Caesar (Jeff Mattox), Kristy Bartlett (Bob), Greta McAvoy (Emmanuel), William Edward Glover (Samantha), Erin ELizabeth Patterson, and Anna Marie Patterson; and many great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, George M. Glover, III; and brother-in-law, Buster Eubanks.
In lieu of a service, Lex requested that his family and friends spend some time enjoying nature.
Memorials may be made to Thiel-Meyer Pet Adoption Center.
