Carol Graves Jackson, born on July 23, 1948, in Plaquemine, Louisiana, passed away on August 11, 2025. She resided in Camden, South Carolina. A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Carol will be fondly remembered. 

Carol is survived by her children, Evette Joan Michel, Jack Joseph Michael (AB), and Robin Jackson Maples; her mother, Florence Graves;  her grandchildren, Jacob Michel, Luke Michel, Josh Hopkins, Brianna Newton, James Jackson and Raina Michel; great grandchildren and brothers.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Graves; husbands, EJ Michel and Boykin Jackson; sister, Kandy Rarick; and grandchildren, DJ and Jessica Jackson. 

Services for Mrs. Jackson will be private.
