RIDGEWAY- A celebration of life service for Ernest W. Rollings, Jr., 84, will be held Friday at 4:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Chris Rollings will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.

    Mr. Rollings passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025. Born in Lancaster, S.C., he was a son of the late Ernest W. Rollings, Sr., and Bessie Lee Oliver Rollings. Mr. Rollings was a member of St. John United Methodist Church and the Marine Corp League. He enjoyed fishing, collecting lures off the bank, collecting coins, and telling jokes and funny stories.

    Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Harriett Suzanna Hatcher Rollings; son Chris Rollings (Laura), son-in-law, Gavin Rostad; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Dianne Rollings Allen and Jeanette Rollings Boatwright (Bud). He was predeceased by a daughter, Donna Rollings Rostad.
