CAMDEN, SC - Jean Kelly Holland, 75, was born in Camden, SC on October 20, 1949, to the late Albert J. Kelly and Minnie Rabon Kelly and passed away August 9.
A Memorial Service will be held at Powers Funeral Home at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Jean was baptized into the Baptist faith as a child and continued to live her life to the glory of God while serving in many positions in her church. Jean retired as a compassionate and dedicated nurse from Kershaw County Medical Center after serving for 40 years. She enjoyed flower gardening, caring for her cats, and watching women's basketball. Jean was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
She is survived by devoted husband Ronnie E. Holland; sons, Ryan K. (Melissa) Branham and Clint (Dorothy) Holland; granddaughters, Mallory R. Branham, and Ella, Reece, and Lucy Campbell; grandsons, Joshua and Noah Holland; and beloved sister, Audrey (Jim) Hartin.
Heartfelt gratitude is expressed to the medical teams at Prisma Health Richland and MUSC Charleston Oncology for their compassionate care, along with family members, friends, and Amedisys hospice personnel after she returned home.
In lieu of flowers, one may donate to St. Jude Research Hospital or a charity of one's choice. Burial will be at another time in the family plot at Union Baptist Church, Elgin, SC.
