Lugoff – A service to celebrate the life of Robert Clayton Cook, 69, will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Sawney’s Creek Baptist Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service at 12:00 PM at the church.

Mr. Cook, husband of Jane Argoe Cook, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025.  Born in Strawberry Plains, TN, he was the son of the late Hattie Cook. He was a faithful member of Sawney’s Creek Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He loved being outside and enjoying God’s creation, riding his motorcycle; and above all he loved his grandsons.  

In addition to his wife, left to cherish his memory are his children; Lanny (Leigh) of Cassatt, Stacey (Otis) of Lugoff, Jennifer (David) of Mars Hill, NC; a sister, Tina Peavler; and Grandsons, Bricen, Tanner, Caleb, Waylon, and Garrett.  He was predeceased by siblings, Brenda, Rex Allen, Jackie, and Michael.
