A graveside service for Frances Berry Miller, 79, will be held at 11am on Monday, July 21, 2025 in St. John Methodist Church cemetery, 4021 Springhill Rd, Rembert, SC 29128. Ms. Miller passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025.

Born in Hartsville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Frank Asbury White, Sr. and Joan Graham White. Frances grew up on a farm in Lee County and loved spending time there. She was a graduate of Ashwood-Central High School. Frances later moved to Florida, where she spent most of her adult life, and really enjoyed her time there. She worked at Pappas Restaurant in Tarpon Springs, FL for many years and Hellen Ellis Hospital in Holiday, FL for more than 20 years. In addition, Frances often worked one to two part time jobs to help provide for her family.

Frances’ grandchildren were the light of her life, and she always loved helping out with them. She also dearly loved her family and friends. Frances was a generous soul and immediately loved anyone she met. She also loved Clemson Football and enjoyed trips to the mountains as often as possible. Frances was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

The family would like to give special thanks to all the staff at Karesh Long Term Care in Camden for the excellent care they provided for Frances over the last 5 years. The staff at Karesh became her extended family, and she loved them all, especially Nurse Barry, her favorite!

Surviving are her children, Steve Berry (Joy) and Melissa Miller (Kenny Bashant); grandchildren, Tripp Berry (Jennifer), Riley Berry, Audrey Thompson, David Michael Franke, II, Ava Nicole Franke, Corbin John Bashant, and Destiny Weiss; great-grandchildren, Brinlynne Franke, Parker Franke, and Hudson Franke. She was predeceased by her daughter, Elizabeth Miller; sisters, Joan Vinson and Ruth Nettles; and brother, Ralph White.
