CAMDEN- A funeral service for Debra A. Faulkenberry, 67, will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Bethune Presbyterian Church with burial to follow in Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Christina Trimble and Rev. Jacob Carron will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Breast Cancer Foundation.
Mrs. Faulkenberry passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025. Born in Savannah, GA, she was a daughter of the late Rex H. Kelly Sr. and Ada Bell Horton Stroud. Debra was a member of Bethune Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed traveling to the beach and the mountains, eating lunch after church with her sisters, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and loved shopping on Temu for her family.
Surviving are her husband, Ernest “Ernie” Peebles; children, Tammy Ray (Robert), Samantha Kelley, Elizabeth Kelley (Brandon Ray), Ara Faulkenberry (Nathan Sovine), Ryan Faulkenberry, Stephania Garcia (Demecio), Kimmie Peebles, Makayla Peebles; siblings, Brenda Lee (Larry), Jenny Hall (Richard), Edward Kelly (Brenda), Linda Pittman (David), Dianne Boykin (Steve), Jeanette Carron (Joe); 20 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. She was predeceased by a brother, Rex H. Kelly, Jr.; and step-father, Floyd Stroud.
