Alice C. Ellis, 86, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025, peacefully at home with her family. Born in London, OH on October 20, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Grover and Mae Conn Clifton. She enjoyed helping her husband with the farm, childcare and hanging out with her grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memories is her son, David A. Edwards (Connie); step- children, Jimmy Ellis (Linda Hinson) of Camden, Kimberley Ellis of Lugoff and Mitchell Ellis of Lugoff; siblings, David Clifton (Bev) of London, OH and Georgia Corkins (Jerry) of TN; grandson, Andrew J. Edwards (Heavenly Edenfield); step great-grandchildren, Dillon Seymour, Christopher Collins, Max Ellis (Makayla), Lily Piermarini (Joe), Victoria Ray (Aaron); great-grandchildren, Lily Edenfield and Kimber Rose Edwards; step-great-grandchildren, Axel Ellis, Theodore Ellis, Wyatt Ray and Josie Piermarini; niece, Deidra Sanders (Dave) of St. Charles, IL; nephew, Chris Clifton (Karen) of London, OH; and special friends, Reagan Neil (Reese), Riley Neil and River Neil.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 05, 2025 at 12:00 pm at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Lugoff, SC. The family will briefly remain after the service to visit with friends and family. Rev. Eric Boone will officiate. The family will recieve friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hosptial.
