BETHUNE- A time of gathering to celebrate the life of Vincent D. Smith, 70, will be held Monday, June 30, 2025 at Powers Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

    Mr. Smith passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025. Born in Camden, he was a son of the late Howard Neil Smith and Iris LaRue Smith. Mr. Smith was a teacher and guidance counselor at North Central High School for 49 years with the Kershaw County School District. He enjoyed playing tennis and farming.

     Surviving are his wife, Tori Smith; sons, Chad Smith of Greenville, Joshua Adam Smith of Dalzell; siblings, Howard Smith (Susan) of GA, Kevin Smith (Clay) of Columbia, Patricia Anderson (Clay) of Bethune, Charles Smith (Allison) of Camden; and fur-babies, Siri and Frank.
