Elgin – Funeral service for Joel Paul White, 58, will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to Theil-Meyer Pet Adoption Center or Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church Men’s Fellowship.

Mr. White passed away at home on Sunday, June 22, 2025.  Born in Columbia, he was the son of Joel Luther White and Thelma Louise White and the late Lynda Jane Davis.  He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles and hot rods.

Surviving are his daughter, Jessica Brown of Blythewood; father, Joel Luther White (Thelma Louise) of Elgin; sisters, Beth Morgan (Tony) of Elgin and Tina Hiers of Columbia; brothers, David White (Robyn) of Elgin and Danny Hiers (Donna) of Cayce; and grandchildren, Kayla Brown and Khloe Brown.
