Camden, SC/Walworth, NY - Scott T. York, 66, passed away on Saturday, June 14th, 2025.  Born in Bangor, Maine, he was the husband of Jill McKee York, and the son of Mary Ellen Young and the late Theodore Ralph York.

Scott attended Denver Diesel and Automotive College, and worked in the automotive industry for over 30 years.  Over the last decade, he built his own business.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his Harley.  He appreciated learning history, and sharing his knowledge with his family.  He loved to travel, experience fine dining, and vacation at the beach.  He was full of fun and good humor, and loved spending time with his family, friends, and his beloved dogs.  To family, he was the life of the party. 

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Chamberland; his son, David York (Mara); stepchildren, Matthew Rosenbauer (Santina), Joe Compton (Joy), Ashley Compton (Sam); 9 grandchildren; his sister, Karen Ames (Andy); his brother, Kevin York (Dawn); and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandson, Derek Rosenbauer.

A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.
