COLUMBIA- A celebration of lifer service for Tramelle Rodrigues Allen, 50, will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church – Kirkwood, Camden, S.C. The Rev. Larry Alexander will officiate. A public viewing will be prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. at the church.

    Mr. Allen passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. Born in Starkville, MS, he was a son of Tommie Allen and the late Helen Dixon Allen. Mr. Allen was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church – Kirkwood. He was an avid Washington Commanders fan and enjoyed watching football and fishing.

    Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 25 years, Paulette Benson Allen; daughter, Morgan Allen; father, Tommie Allen (Cassandra); brother, Tramaine Allen (Katie) of Ok; sister, Rickia Allen of MD; step-siblings, Alex Jones, Rashad Jones; a special aunt, Shirley Andrews (Major); Father and Mother-in-law, Rev. Larry and Mary Alexander; and several other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

    The family extends a special thanks to S.C. Oncology Associates, especially nurses Gwen and Rachael, for their care of Tramelle.
