Lugoff – A private family burial service for Vickie Russ Turner, 76, will be held in Quaker Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.

Ms. Turner passed away at home on Saturday, June 7, 2025.  Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late William Dennis Russ and Ruth Roland Blackwell Russ.  She retired as a beautician having worked in Camden and at the Karesh Wing of KershawHealth for over 45 years.  She was a member of Rowan ARP Church.  Ms. Turner was active in the local Shag clubs and enjoyed playing cards and listening to music.  Her most cherished moments were the time she spent with her family, especially Sunday dinners.

Surviving are her sons, Rusty Williams (Melanie) of Elgin and Chet Williams (MacKenzie) of Lugoff; sister, Kay Jackson of Lugoff; grandchildren, Makenzie Brown (Joey), Russ Williams (Marley), Luke Williams (Grayce), and Evan Williams; great-grandchildren, Walker Drew Brown and Weston Reed Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a brother, Dennis Russ; and sister, Faye Russ Kirkbride.
