David Randall Earnhart, 58, passed away on May 25, 2025. Born in Richmond,VA on June 27, 1966, he was the son of Carol Holmes Earnhart and the late C. Reid Earnhart. He graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering in 1988. He married his wife Elizabeth Tracy Goode in 2016 in Gatlinburg, TN. Mr. Earnhart was very accomplished as a Chemical Engineer, working for DuPont, Westinghouse and Bechtel for many years before retiring. While working he earned a Six Sigma Black Belt Certification which took him to Europe, Australia and South America.

Left to cherish his memories in addition to his wife, are his children, Justin Ward Earnhart of Oak Ridge, TN and Jessica Earnhart Howell (Matthew) of Lugoff, SC; mother, Carol Holmes Earnhart of Lugoff, SC; sister, Julie Kathleen Earnhart of Atlanta, GA; brother, Mark Holmes Earnhart of Lugoff, SC; and granddaughter, Emma Lynn Howell of Lugoff, SC.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 3:00 pm at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2-3 p.m. at the funeral home.
