Our hearts go out to the Baxley family as they mourn the loss of their dear mother. Miss Kitty was a special lady--always welcoming and blessed with a kind and loving spirit. Togeher with her mother, Mrs. Annie, she made all our children feel special. We were blessed to know her and will treasure all the memories. It was so sad to see the news about ‘Miss Kitty’. My husband Eldred and I went on several trips with she and ‘Mr Baxley’ with Christian Tours. She was such a joy, always had a hug for me and such sweet words. They both were a lot of fun. She was so easy to love. Please know that you all are in my Prayers. Blessings to the family.. Growing up in Little Mountain,I frequently heard the name "Kitty Wise". Just a few years ago,while visiting a gentleman that grew up with Kitty,he said " Kitty's singing group could not be beat." I never met Kitty but remember going with my mother to visit her mother, Mrs. Annie. The home where Kitty grew up was just across the railroad tracks from my father's store so not a day passed that we did not think of the Wise Family. To us older folks, the house will always be "Annie Wise's house". I am sorry for your loss and will keep you in my prayers now and in the days ahead. Thank you for sharing facts about her life in the obit for those of us who heard her name often but did not know of her many accomplishments and service to others. Take care.

Aunt Kitty and Uncle Dan’s were always there for our family. I remember good times staying in Camden during the summer. She always managed work and home so beautifully. After my Mom died, you could always count on her to do what she could do for us girls! I just remember how she lived humbly and with such grace. Never heard her complain, regardless of situation. Amazing lady!! I do believe I see her in her children. What a role model. Love you Aunt Kitty!!
