Easley – Maristine "Molly" Carroll, born on December 10, 1960, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Albert Carroll Sr. and Elouise Ella Lawson Carroll, was called to her heavenly home on Mother's Day, May 11, 2025, in Easley, South Carolina.

Molly, as she was affectionately known, spent her early years in Baltimore before moving to Sumter County, South Carolina, where she was raised and educated in the local public schools. It was in South Carolina that Molly accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and attended church.

After meeting Rodney Stewart, Molly welcomed her first child, Rosalind Stewart, and later relocated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. There, she dedicated herself to being a devoted mother and homemaker, nurturing her family to the best of her ability. Although faced with trials and tribulations, Molly was a loving mother and a doting grandmother who embodied kindness, strength, and resilience.

She had a passion for good movies and an infectious laughter that brought joy to those around her. Known for her sweet temperament and pride in her appearance, Molly had a unique ability to uplift spirits, even in challenging times.

Her family and friends often appreciated her generous heart, as she was always ready to lend a helping hand. While she could be a handful at times, Lol. Her carefree spirit and zest for life were infectious. In her spare time, Molly enjoyed cooking, dancing, and dressing up for a fun night out.

Molly's gentle and nurturing nature was matched by her fierce protectiveness of her loved ones. She never hesitated to stand up for herself and those she cared about, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Maristine was preceeded in death by her two sons; the late Rodney Stewart (Mann), Demetrius Carroll (Tootoo); a brother Albert Carroll Jr. Three sisters: Mrs. Betty Thomas; Mrs. Thomisine Carroll Sumpter and Ms. Sharon Carroll.

Maristine Carroll is survived by her beloved (4) daughters: Rosalind Stewart of Philadelphia, PA; Ashley (Jerry) Carroll Blake of Charlotte. NC; Tiffany Carroll of Philadelphia, PA; Brittany (Kenny) Carroll of Sumter, SC. (1) sister: Irene (Walter) Carroll June of Sumter, SC. Four grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. As they mourn her passing, they celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the indelible mark she left on their hearts.
