CAMDEN-Jeanne Dunay passed away peacefully at her home in Camden on May 17, 2025 at the age of 90. Jeanne was born in Ayer, MA on June 3, 1934.


Jeanne's love of antiques was a constant throughout her life. While living in Fayetteville NC, Jeanne opened her first Antique shop and also hosted a call in radio show on period Antiques. In 1985 she moved to Columbia SC to be closer to her children and took a position as Director of Finance and Administration for the National Association of Campus Activities.


Jeanne moved to Camden in 1996 while still working for NACA and stayed active in buying and selling antiques under the name Bellflower Antiques on the Antique Show circuit from New York to Texas. For a time, Jeanne gave classes on recognizing antiques at the Fine Arts Center. She retired from NACA in 2000. In 2008, Jeanne founded Camden Estate Sales which operated until 2020 and covered numerous estate sales in the Carolinas.


Jeanne leaves five sons, Mark Houde, Paul Houde and Victor Houde of Camden, Andrew Houde of Newland NC and Matthew Houde of Beaufort SC; three Granddaughters, Kayla (Victor), Lily (Andrew) and Morgan (Mark); three Grandsons; Jeffery, William Sean (dec) and Max (Paul) and a great granddaughter, Emily (Jeffery).


Services for Jeanne will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Agape Hospice
