Dennis Eaton

Camden – A service to celebrate the life of Dennis Joseph Eaton, 54, will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at Malvern Hill Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Black Creek Wildlife Center, 1953 Tema Road, Hartsville, S.C. (www.blackcreekwildlife.org).

Mr. Eaton passed away at home on Monday, May 5, 2025.  Born in Attleboro, MA, he was the son of Anna Malvina Eaton and the late Malcolm Roger Eaton.  He was a truck driver for many years and a paint and body technician for NASCAR. He was a member of Malvern Hill Baptist Church.

Mr. Eaton enjoyed tinkering, working on cars, woodworking, cutting grass and lawn care work.  He cherished his family time and loved making memories camping.

Surviving are his wife of 10 years, Stephanie Rabon Eaton; children, Zachary Eaton (Samantha) of Rockwell, N.C., Dylan Rabon of Bishopville, S.C., Caleb Rabon (Maddy) of Turbeville, S.C., and Gracelynn Eaton of Camden, S.C.; sister, Karen Lorraine Carpenter (David) of Concord, N.C.; brother, Doug James Eaton of Parkton, N.C.; grandson, Michael Joseph Roger Eaton of Rockwell, N.C.; nephews, Justin Michael Curt of Concord, N.C. and Eli Rabon of Cassatt, S.C.; niece, Samantha Carpenter of Concord, N.C.; and fur babies, Pepper, Bailey, Luke, Daisy, and Ari.
