LUGOFF – A time of gathering to celebrate of life of James D. “Donnie” Knight, 64, will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 pm on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Powers Funeral Home.

    Mr. Knight passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. Born in Camden, SC, he was the son of the late John M. Knight and Martha Peach Knight.  He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, camping, riding his motorcycle, and hunting squirrels. Donnie enjoyed front porch sitting, watching M.A.S.H. and the news. He was a loving husband, father, and poppa.

    Surviving is his wife, Sandra Yelenic Knight; daughters, Nikki Knight (Clay) and Heather Knight (Zack); grandchildren, Brynley Parrish and Zane Parrish; sister, Vicki Thomas (Mike); and brother, Richard Knight. He was predeceased by his brother, John M. Knight, Jr.
