Obituary of Brian Keith Kirkland

Keystone Heights, FL – Funeral service for Brian Keith Kirkland, 56, will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Kirkland Family Cemetery, Elgin.  The family will receive friends Saturday from 9:30-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kirkland Family Cemetery, 1221 Sun Valley Circle, Elgin, SC  29045.

   Mr. Kirkland passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025.  Born in Jacksonville, FL, he was the son of Elmer Herbert Kirkland, Jr. and Nancy Jean Hall Kirkland.  He served in the United States Army where he was in the Airborne Rangers.  He was a long-distance truck driver.

    Surviving are his parents, Elmer Herbert Kirkland Jr. of Lugoff and Nancy Jean Kirkland of Keystone Heights, FL; girlfriend, Kelly Ireland of Bishopville, S.C.; children, Kaitlin and Skylar; brother, Scott Kirkland (Lynn) of Gilbert S.C; and nephews, Brandon Kirkland (Autumn) and Conner Kirkland.
